What comes to your mind when you think of Penang?
Is it the Char Koay Teow? Penang Hill? Kek Lok Si temple? the Batu Feringghi beach?
Well, I decided to update this part of Penang.
There's no doubt that this very part of Penang is attracting more and more tourists today,
With the growing number of cafes & street art murals around this area, there's no reason to not love this place :)
Mmmhmm, I'm talking about Georgetown :)
Here's a short update of my 1.5 hours spent in this awesome town.
It was getting pretty hot as the both of us were walking around Georgetown and it felt nice to hear Walls ice-cream music playing somewhere.
"Paddle pop.... Paddle pop...."
I'm pretty sure you were silently singing when you read that ;)
But anywho, I saw this man cycling around while selling Banggali bread and snacks.
Something which I have not seen for quite some time
"Uncle, Roti Banggali dengan kaya satu!"
Boy, something so simple yet so delicious.
Then, we stopped at this lane where all the hardware stuffs are sold & for some reason, this part of the lane caught my attention.
In my head, I was thinking "How is that uncle going to keep those things?"
It was a pretty cool lane filled with all metal things and old men just sitting by, waiting for time to pass them by.
It was getting a little late and while walking back to the car, I saw this man cycling from afar.
I walked as fast as I could to stand right in front of this temple and held my camera on standby.
Wore the wrong shoes on that day too, hence, the two blisters
And no, I won't post any picture of the blisters :)
On a side note, walking barefooted in malls....
(checked)
Well, I'm pretty sure that he knew that I was taking a picture of him.
On a side note, will be on hiatus mode as I prepare for my finals.
Thanks for stopping by! :)
